PICTURES!

OOOO Presents! Top is at Grandma Lolee's and Papa Jon's. Bottom is at Oma Nancy and Opa Doug's house.
I love my new PJ's from mommy and daddy! Gotta love new jammies on Christmas!
Bathtime is fun time at the DuFrene house. Out of the picture is Thiessen trying to either drink the water or play with the toys. It takes both Mike and I to perform a proper bath without Thiessen trying to interfere or get into the bath with Malachi.

Ooo I forgot!

We also have 2 toofers! Yep that's right, Malachi got his first tooth to poke thru! The first one came thru on Dec. 26th and the second started poking thru soon after (Jan. 6). We are showing signs of the top ones making their way down, but considering how long it took us to get these first ones it might be awhile.

Malachi is also scooting backwards! We are rocking on our knees, rocking in a plank position and scooting backwards/crawling backwards kind of. Who knows how long it will go before we crawl, but mommy and daddy are baby proofing like crazy to get ready for it!

Happy Be-lated New Year!

Wow I can't believe it has been since the middle of December that we last wrote. The day after we wrote was the beginning of our Christmas festivities. We had the Gelschus 'cocktail' night. It is where my (Amy) dad's family gets together. We have a blast catching up and watching the kids play and get to know each other as the next generation starts joining us! My mom hired a photographer to be there as well so we will have some great memories of the night! Since then we have also had the Anderson Christmas (Amy's family) and the DuFrene Christmases (both with just Doug and Nancy; and the whole DuFrene clan). Malachi has been so terribly spoiled!

For New Year's Eve Mike and I spent the time being Woo Pi and Pen Ti Gon in an Asian themed Murder Mystery. Mike (Pen Ti Gon) ended up killing Amy's (Woo Pi) twin brother! Who knew we had a murderer in the house! Other accomplices were made up of youth directors here in Hutchinson and their spouses. It was a great time, we nearly missed actually counting down!

Since then we have had Malachi's first overnight without mommy and daddy. He said with Grandma Lolee (laurie) and Papa Jon while mommy was on a retreat with the youth and daddy had a crazy work schedule. Malachi had fun earlier this fall when Oma Nancy and Opa Doug stayed with him for an entire weekend, this was just not at his house! Oh my! We were so proud how well he handled the new environment without us. Malachi's cousin, Avery, celebrated her first birthday yesterday and we are celebrating together tomorrow!

I will get pictures of our little guy up here soon!

Much love from Hutch-y!
