Where did June and July go?

Wow time certainly flies when you are having fun....or are really busy. Both are true :)

Here in the land of DuFrene we have had a pretty chaotic June and July. In June VBS hit Oak Heights, leading Amy into a tailspin. It was a blast to be at SKY 2012. But it was certainly a crazy time. During VBS week Mike started the process of renewing the carpeting in 2 of the DuFrene house rooms (this job will not be completed until July 15th :) ). In July we spent a weekend up north at the cabin with the Karels and the Reeds. It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend. When the weekend was over it was once again crazy.

On July 14 Amy boarded a bus for Tennessee with 6 youth from Oak Heights. Malachi was at Grandma and Grandpa Gelschus' and changed from crawler to walker during that time! Oma and Opa DuFrene also came out to spend time with the Duey Boys. On July 21 Amy returned. Only now the whole family turned around and headed to Maplewood for the week while she attended a theology class and Mike has the time off.
